Grandpa Teddy first came to life in a college play held at SUNY Brockport just outside
of Rochester NY. The character was brought to life by then arts and education
student Kenneth "Tiny" Glover. Some fifteen years later Grandpa Teddy still
lives and has grown to become a part of the lives of many children. Grandpa Teddy now travels through out the country telling fables and tales from other cultures. He feels that the best way for children to learn is through a combination of the arts and laughter. "I'm only one bear" jokes Glover. "That's why I've created Out of the Woods Products." Out of the Woods Productions is an educational multi-media developer of products for children that utilize the arts, cultural message, and humor to teach children. "It's the only way I can reach all of the kids with a positive educational message" said Glover. |
